Sony recently launched the Xperia M, but it’s not worth the competition against the Xperia L which is priced a bit higher, and have the features and specs quite better than the former. Check below for the comparison of the various aspects and the specs.
Sony Xperia M vs Xperia L
The screen quality is quite the same but the smaller screen size of the Xperia M makes the pixel density better as the screen resolution on both the devices is the same. Design wise, both the devices look quite comfortable to hold and are good at looks too, but the Xperia L is more comfortable with the Arc shaped design of the back panel which rests on the palm.
The processor is a bit advanced in the Xperia L, though the speed of both of them is the same and the GPU included too is the same. The camera is where the Xperia L takes away a lot of credit, with the 8-megapixel lens doing a good capturing when compared to the 5-megapixel not-so-decent camera of the Xperia M. Although it’s a 720p video capture possible with the two cameras, the quality is again no that comparable and good in the Xperia M.
The internal storage provided in the Xperia L is 8 GB, while the user available storage in the Xperia M is 2GB which could be a bit of disadvantage for the user who select the former. The battery again is the same in both the devices, which Sony should have looked on to have a better one on the Xperia L.

Sony Xperia M vs Xperia L Pricing Comparison
The Xperia M is priced at Rs. 13,000 in the Indian market, while the Xperia L is priced at Rs. 16,000 but when you are looking at a device that gives you some good usage experience and do a better capturing of pictures with the rear camera, you need to shell out those extra bucks to get the Xperia L. Still, the Xperia M cannot thrown out of the league because the battery, processor and the display are quite decent for that pricing.
