How to Root Xolo A500S Android Phone [Framaroot tool]

Xolo A500S Rooting

The Xolo A500S is one of the best budget Android smartphones which came with a very neat design and some good specifications, but many didn’t get impressed with the basic interface that was included in the device. The option they can see is to install any custom interface or ROM and make the best out of the smartphone. Although the specifications are not that great, for what is provided the rooting is really necessary if you wanted to change the ROM and install a better looking interface in it.

The Xolo A500S rooting procedure is quite simple and you don’t need to do any skilled steps in this, because the tool to be used in this is Framaroot, which is a simple app that would do the job of rooting the A500S and that too in no time.

To root the Xolo A500S, you need to download the Framaroot tool which is an APK file which the user has to install in their phone. Download the file by going to the following link: Click here | Alternate Link

Take a backup of the SMS and personal data although nothing would be lost after the rooting process. For that you need to use apps like “SMS Backup & Restore” by Ritesh Sahu.

Transfer the framaroot.apk file and install that file in the A500S device, after you have set the permissions to install the external apps.

Once the Framaroot app is installed, open it and you will see a very simple page with the set of options where you can install Superuser, SuperSU or unroot. You need to select “Install SuperSU” and tap on Boromir and just in a few seconds, it would show the message that the phone is rooted and you will need to reboot the smartphone once.

After the restart, you will see the SuperSU installed, and you can download the Root Checker application to see whether the Xolo A500S is perfectly rooted or not.
